Lack of updating

I apologize to those who have come to the website looking for forecasts lately. I haven't had much time to update the site since the spring semester. As of right now, this website will not be functioning for forecasts.

However, the CNY Weather facebook page is still updated frequently as I have more time to devote to posting quick forecasts and weather updates there.

I may use this site to post blog updates on important weather occurances we may have in the future, so keep an eye out! But if we want forecasts, feel free to check out the facebook page!

June 17th, 2013 Forecast

Forecast Discussion: A stretch of rain has finally come to an end with a weak high pressure beginning to build in through the day yesterday. Over the next few days we will likely see some sun with possible afternoon and evening showers/storms not out of the question. Overall, conditions will remain comfortable with daytime high temperatures in the lower to middle 70's and overnight lows in the mower to middle 50's. Stay tuned through the week for updates!

SUNY Oswego Graduation Day Forecast

The SUNY Oswego graduation is this Saturday.  While it'll be warm in Syracuse (low 70s), a lake breeze will set up during the late morning or early afternoon hours along the lakeshore in Oswego.  Here is the forecast for Oswego throughout the day on Saturday.

For the first graduation ceremony at 9 A.M., it'll be in the mid 50s with plenty of sun.  At lunchtime, they'll reach their high around 65 or so.  The lake breeze will set up shortly thereafter and it'll cool into the low 60s by the start of the second graduation ceremony at 1:30 P.M.  Dinnertime will be cool with temperatures in the upper 50s by then; however, the sun will still be shining brightly which will help make it feel slightly warmer, at least.

Congratulations to everyone who is graduating, including our very own Peter Speck, Jordan Rabinowitz, and myself.
