Weather has always fascinated Peter Speck no matter the situation. Snowstorms, thunderstorms, tornadoes, hail, etc. have always kept him close to his love of weather. He would always watch The Weather Channel and local NewsChannel 9 meteorologists give their forecasts everyday. He wished one day he could be like them. His dad, the main source of inspiration for going into the field of weather, has always been passionate about the subject, and he himself wanted to be a meteorologist as well.
Peter will hopefully have the chance to live this dream as he graduated from SUNY Oswego in May 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology. His goal is to either go on television or work for the National Weather Service.
