Now: After a few early morning showers, a mix of sun and clouds is being seen this afternoon. Temperatures are cool (but pleasant) in the mid-60s with a north to northwest wind around 10 to 15 mph. The first half of this weekend will be picture-perfect before a few showers move into the picture by Sunday.Tonight: Skies will become clear and it will turn chilly. Lows will drop into the lower 40s in the North Country, mid to upper 40s in Syracuse, and lower 50s in Oswego. Winds will become light and variable, allowing for plenty of radiational cooling. The sunset tonight is at 7:23 PM...definitely check it out if you are in Oswego because it is going to be a good one.
Saturday and Saturday Night: Sunny and warmer. Highs will be in the 71 to 74 range across Central New York (around 73 degrees in Syracuse). It will be a picture-perfect day for the first half of the weekend. Winds will be fairly light at 5 to 10 mph from the west, becoming northeast in the afternoon. The UV Index will be a 6, which means you can burn in about 35 minutes. Clouds will be on the increase by Saturday night, holding temperatures in the lower to mid-50s overnight with southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
