September 18th and 19th, 2010 Forecast

Tonight: Mostly clear and chilly. Some patchy fog could form after midnight. Lows will drop between 42 degrees in the Catskill Mountains to 50 degrees along the Lake Ontario shore. Syracuse should drop to around 46 degrees. North winds 5 to 10 mph in the evening will become southwest overnight. The sunset tonight is at 7:11 PM.

Saturday and Saturday Night: A picture-perfect day for the start of the last weekend of summer. Bright sun in the morning will give way to a few afternoon clouds popping up in the afternoon. Warmer with highs near 75 degrees. Winds will be out of the south at 5 to 15 mph, pumping in the warmer air. The UV Index will be a 6, which means you can burn in about 35 minutes. Clouds increase on Saturday night and lows drop into the lower 50s for most locations. There is a 30 percent chance of a shower after midnight. Winds will remain out of the south around 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday: Clouds and sun. The 30 percent chance of a shower remains in the forecast. Cooler with highs holding around 67 degrees.
