October 23rd and 24th, 2010 Forecast

Tonight: Lake effect clouds and spotty showers will redevelop southeast of Lake Ontario and gradually move northward towards the east of Lake Ontario overnight. Otherwise, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies across the region. Lows will drop into the 30s except near the lake shore where temperatures will hold around 45 degrees. Winds will start off west-northwest 5 to 15 mph and then shift out of the southwest 5 to 10 mph overnight. The sunset tonight is at 6:11 PM.

Saturday and Saturday Night: Mix of clouds and sun...milder with highs near 60 degrees. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph will become west 5 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Lows will hold in the mid-40s Saturday night under increasing clouds coverage.

Sunday: Mild with highs in the lower 60s. Skies will be mostly cloudy with some breaks of sun. There is a 40 percent chance of showers in Central New York, but the best chance appears to be east of Lake Ontario and across the North Country. Winds will be out of the south 5 to 10 mph.
