October 30th and 31st, 2010 Forecast

Tonight: Lake effect rain showers southeast of Lake Ontario in the evening will push northward to the east of Lake Ontario. Otherwise, expect a partly cloudy and seasonably cold night. Lows will drop into the mid-30s in Central NY, lower 30s in the Southern Tier, and upper 20s across the Catskill Mountains. Winds will become southwest 5 to 10 mph. The sunset tonight is at 6:00 PM.

Saturday and Saturday Night: Mix of sun and clouds, seasonable, and breezy. Highs will be in the lower to mid-50s. Southwest winds will increase to 10 to 20 mph. There will be a few showers north of Syracuse during the day. Saturday night, skies become mostly cloudy and there is a 40 percent chance of rain showers overnight. Lows will drop into the mid to upper 30s.

Sunday: Mix of sun and clouds, cold. Highs will only be around 45 degrees for trick-or-treaters on Halloween. Winds will be out of the northwest 5 to 15 mph. The wind chill will hold near 40 degrees in the afternoon.
