December 28th, 2010 Forecast

Tonight: Lake effect snow will develop and affect areas southeast of Lake Ontario. 1 to 4 inches of snow is likely across this area, but localized amounts of 4 to 8 inches is possible in heavier bands. Lows will drop to around 25 degrees before slightly rising overnight. Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph will create wind chills in the teens. The sunset this evening is at 4:36 PM.

Tuesday: The lake effect snow southeast of Lake Ontario will slowly weaken throughout the day. An additional 1 to 3 inches of snow is likely. The high will be near 32 degrees. Northwest winds will shift from the west 10 to 20 mph.

Wednesday: Gray skies with freezing drizzle and light snow showers. The most persistent precipitation will occur east of Lake Ontario. High near 32 degrees.

Thursday: Clouds in the morning will give way to some sun by the afternoon. Not as cold with a high near 35 degrees.
