February 11th, 2011 Forecast

Tonight: Partly cloudy and frigid. More lake effect snow will be falling east-northeast of Lake Ontario where another 6 to 12 + inches is expected. Lows will drop to around 1 in Syracuse with areas in the Catskill Mountains dropping as low as 5 below. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph. The sunset this evening is at 5:29 PM.

Friday: Partly sunny with increasing clouds late in the day. Lake effect snow showers will continue northeast of Lake Ontario. High near 24 degrees with southwest winds 5 to 15 mph.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy and breezy with scattered light snow showers. Lake effect snow squalls may develop from Syracuse on north late in the afternoon and evening. The high will be near 29 degrees. The chance of snow is about 40 percent.

Sunday: Light snow on and off with some wet snow mixing in at times due to temperatures being near or above freezing. 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected with a high around 34 degrees. The chance of snow is about 60 percent.
