March 4th, 2011 Forecast

Tonight: High clouds increase. Temperatures may rise a bit after midnight. Evening lows around 12 degrees. Light and variable winds in the evening becoming east 5 to 10 mph overnight. The sunset tonight is at 5:56 PM.

Friday: Sun through high thin clouds gives way to increasing and thickening clouds. There is a 30 percent chance for midday and afternoon spotty light snow or light rain showers. The high will be near 35 degrees and will hold steady at that temperature overnight Friday night. East winds will become south-southeast in the afternoon increasing to 10 to 20 mph with gusts around 30 mph.

Saturday: Plenty of clouds around with warmer and above normal temperatures. There is a 60 percent chance for some rain showers. Expect a high near 47 degrees.

Sunday: Rain in the morning will change to a period of freezing rain and sleet before changing to all snow. The afternoon may become icy and/or snowy, so check back to CNY Weather Friday evening for updates. Look for a high around 45 degrees in the morning before temperatures fall into the 20s in the afternoon. The chance of precipitation is about 60 percent.
