April 29th, 2011 Forecast

The high in Syracuse on Wednesday was 82 degrees at 5:48 PM. The high in Fulton was 81 degrees. The high in Oswego was 82 degrees around 3:00 PM.

Rest of Today: Mix of sun and clouds, windy. High around 75 degrees in Syracuse; high around 73 degrees in Oswego. As of 10 AM, Syracuse is at 74 degrees and Oswego is at 72 degrees. I think we may rise one more degree before temperatures slowly fall into the 60s. Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts 50 to 55 mph will shift from the west-southwest.

Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of spotty sprinkles or light showers after midnight. Lows will drop to around 44 degrees. Winds will be out of the west-southwest at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph in the evening. The sunset tonight is at 8:02 PM.

Friday: Skies will be mainly gray, but a few breaks of sun are possible. Expect spotty showers and sprinkles on and off throughout the day. It will be much cooler with a high only near 51 degrees. Winds will be out of the west at 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph. The chance of rain is about 40 percent.

Saturday: Leftover clouds and spotty sprinkles in the morning give way to sunshine. It will be a bit milder with a high near 60 degrees. The chance of rain in the morning is about 20 percent.

Sunday: Sun to clouds, warmer. Look for scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. The high will be around 69 degrees. The chance of rain is about 40 percent.
