Syracuse broke a record high on Wednesday with a high of 97 degrees at 5:22 PM. This broke the old record of 94 degrees, set back in 2005.

Tonight: Any showers and thunderstorms that popped up will end. Turning cooler with dew points dropping. Patchy drizzle or fog is possible. Lows will drop to around 60 degrees in Syracuse. Northwest winds will shift from the north at 5 to 10 mph. The sunset tonight is at 8:43 PM.

Friday: Clouds will give way to increasing sunshine. Cooler and less humid with a high near 76 degrees in Syracuse. Winds will be out of the north-northwest at 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday: Hazy sun and clouds with showers and thunderstorms early in the day, then again late in the day. The high will be near 77 degrees. The chance of rain is about 70 percent.

Sunday: Scattered showers in the morning will lead to breaks of sunshine by the afternoon. The high will be around 72 degrees. The chance of rain is about 60 percent.
