A warm front will lift northward into the area today, bringing with it showers and thunderstorms, as well as a few severe thunderstorms for the area Thursday. A cold front will drop into the area Friday, with more showers and thunderstorms into the early part of the weekend.

Tonight: Showers with a chance of thunderstorms. Lows in the mid 60s. South wind 5-10mph

Thursday/Thursday night: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Some storms could be severe in the afternoon and evening. Highs in the lower to mid 80s. Lows in the mid 60s. South wind 5-10mph.

Friday/Friday night: Continued showers with a chance of thunderstorms. Highs in the mid 70s. Lows in the upper 50s.

Saturday: Sunny. Highs in the mid 70s.
