August 21st, 2011 Forecast

Tonight: Clouds will be on the increase through the night. It will be muggy with some patchy fog. A few storms will be possible as we approach daybreak. Lows will drop between 59 and 66 degrees across the region. Winds will be out of the south at 5 to 10 mph. The sunset tonight is at 8:00 PM (no more 8 PM or later sunsets after tonight, so enjoy it !).

Sunday: Humid with scattered storms. Some of these storms could be strong with damaging wind, hail, and downpours. We may see a sunny break here or there in between storms, but skies will be mostly cloudy. Expect a high near 82 degrees in Syracuse. South winds in the morning at 5 to 15 mph will shift from the west and gust around 25 mph in the afternoon. The chance of rain is about 70 percent.

Monday: Cooler and breezy with a mix of sun and clouds. There is a 20 percent chance of a few isolated lake enhanced sprinkles, but expect a much drier day than Sunday. The high will be near 75 degrees.

Tuesday: Scattered clouds and pleasant. High around 76 degrees.
