October 26th, 2011 Forecast

Two slow moving low pressure systems will make their way thought the region throughout the next several days. The first will bring rain showers to the area starting tonight through Wednesday. The next one will form to our south and will bring precipitation to the area Thursday and Thursday night. This could be our first snow producer of the year as enough cold air will flow around the low, which will help change rain to snow, especially across the higher elevations, Thursday afternoon and evening. We could see a general change to all snow Thursday night. At this time, snowfall amounts look to be light, around a trace to maybe an inch, but farther south and east there could be higher amounts. The weather will clear out for the weekend.

Tonight: Showers likely. Lows in the lower 40s. West wind around 10mph.

Wednesday/Wednesday Night: Showers likely. Highs in the lower 50s. Lows near 40. Light north wind.

Thursday/Thursday Night: Rain and snow likely, changing to all snow overnight. Light accumulation likely, but higher amounts over higher elevations. Highs near 40. Lows in the lower 20s. North wind 5-10mph.

Friday. Sunny. High in the mid 40s.
