November 18th, 2011 Forecast

Our first major lake effect snowfall is expected later today into the day Friday for parts east of Lake Ontario, where Lake Effect snow Warnings and Advisories have been issued (Accumulations could be around a foot in some areas). Other areas to the south will mainly see a slight chance of snow tonight. Temperatures will begin to rebound into the weekend, but then drop once again later Sunday as a cold front approaches the area.

Today: Partly to mostly cloudy skies. Cold with highs around 40. West winds around 10mph.

Tonight: Lake effect snow likely to the east of Lake Ontario, a slight chance of snow elsewhere. Accumulations 4-8 inches with lighter amounts elsewhere. Lows in the upper 20s. West winds around 10mph.

Friday/Friday Night: Becoming sunny. Highs in the lower 40s. Lows in the upper 20s.

Saturday: Sunny. Highs in the lower 50s.

Sunday. A chance of showers. Highs near 60.
