December 28th, 2011 Forecast

Low pressure will move through our area bringing with it unsettled weather for this evening. Rain will begin changing to snow overnight as temperatures drop as well as with the passage of the cold front, which will allow for winds to shift to the northwest, increasing our likelihood of seeing some lake effect snow for the day Wednesday (Lake Effect Snow Advisories have been issued for Cayuga, Onondaga, and Cortland counties), where we could see some accumulating snow, as well as some pretty gusty winds. More snow showers are possible into the weekend.
