February 1st, 2012 Forecast

Central New York is dealing with the cleanup of this today. If you're looking for snow, you can find it in Fulton. Fulton received 32.5 inches of snow in 18 hours, from 8 PM Sunday evening through 2 PM Monday afternoon. Here in Oswego, only 8.2 inches. That's how challenging lake effect snow is to forecast.

Tonight: Mild with rain showers on and off. Lows will drop into the upper 30s. Winds will be out of the southwest at 10 to 20 mph. The sunset this evening is at 5:15 PM.

Wednesday: Mild and breezy with a few rain showers. After a midday high in the upper 40s, temperatures will fall to near 40 degrees by sunset. Southwest winds will shift from the west at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph. The chance of rain is 40 percent.

Thursday: Cooler with a 30 percent chance of flurries. High in the upper 30s.
