Tonight: Clouds increase, but it will remain dry overnight. Lows will drop into the mid-20s. Winds will be from the east-southeast at 5 to 10 mph. The sunset this evening is at 5:52 PM.

Wednesday: Gray skies. Snow arrives around midday, changes to sleet and freezing rain mid-afternoon, and then to all rain by sunset. High in the upper 30s late in the day. Winds will be out of the east at 10 to 20 mph. The chance of precipitation is 80 percent. 1 to 4 inches of snow and ice accumulation is possible east of I-81 (Utica, Rome, Catskills, Adirondacks), with the highest amounts over the higher elevations.

Thursday: A 40 percent chance of a few rain or snow showers. High in the lower 40s.
