It was a warm week across Central New York. It didn't turn out as stormy as we originally thought, but I'm sure many of us aren't complaining, although we do need the rain. The warmest day of the week was last Sunday, May 20th, when Syracuse ended up only 2 degrees shy of the record high of 90 degrees. The week also finished off very nice yesterday with low humidity and plenty of sunshine.
These 80 + degree temperatures (and perhaps 90s tomorrow) will gradually subside as we go through this upcoming week. Temperatures will struggle to get above 70 degrees by the end of the week -- I'm sure that will be a refreshing change for those of us that dislike the heat. Tuesday looks to be our best shot this week at getting the much needed rain.
