September 28th, 2012 Forecast

High pressure that has been giving us the very beautiful days recently will be exiting the area tonight. Low pressure currently in eastern Ohio will be moving eastward over Pennsylvania through the day tomorrow. With this, we will see a threat of showers for the day Friday and into the overnight. Right now, the heaviest showers are expected to remain to our southeast, while the lighter amounts of around a quarter of an inch are possible for our area. High pressure will move into the area for Saturday bringing some clearing and sun. It will be short lived however as another low pressure is forecasted to move up the east coast on Sunday, with more rain likely.

We will have to watch for a possible Indian Summer for next week. Some computer models have upper level temperatures rising to near 15°C (that's around 59°F). When we mix it down, it'll mean highs possibly hitting 80°F. Will have to keep an eye on.
