High pressure will move eastward out of our area and will allow a warm front to move northward over the area on Friday. Above normal temperatures (highs in the 50s) and rain are likely (with these factors, expect a great deal of snow melt to occur over much of the weekend, and be mindful of flooding in basements if your home is susceptible) and should move out to provide a nice warm day on Saturday. A cold front will follow on Sunday, and will be slow moving, keeping rain in the forecast for the whole day. High pressure will try and briefly take control for the beginning of next week.
