Low pressure that impacted much of the Mid Atlantic today will continue its movement further out to sea tonight and tomorrow. Winds will subsequently shift from more northeasterly to more northwesterly through tomorrow. With this flow over Lake Ontario, combined with some small disturbances at upper levels and moisture, the chance of some snow showers will remain across the area throughout much of the week as the upper level low providing these disturbances will be slow to progress eastward. After a weak trough moves over the area Friday, skies will begin to slowly clear out for the weekend and we will see a small warm up in temperatures, especially for Sunday where highs might approach 50 (still too far out at this point to be certain).
Bottom Line Forecast: Look for a majority of the week to remain mostly cloudy with some light snow showers possible. Highs will stay a little below normal in the low 40s.
