It was a roller coaster ride of temperatures last week across central New York. Sunday unexpectedly reached 67 degrees as the sun came out and the showers held off. By late in the week we were dealing with snow and ice north of Syracuse.
Syracuse picked up no snow this week, but the airport did record 2.11 inches of rain. Most of the rain fell on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Some thunder was even reported late Wednesday afternoon which was a surprise for some people, I'm sure.
Spring temperatures aren't ready to stick around just yet. The up-and-down temperature roller coaster will be continuing this week. We'll get some warm days and some cool days. I would definitely hold off on planting any flowers or vegetation for another couple of weeks.
