August 10th, 2010 Forecast

Tonight: This evening will be mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of scattered storms across Central New York. After midnight, skies will become partly cloudy and low temperatures will drop between 60 and 67 degrees across the region. Light northwest winds will shift from the southwest.

Tuesday: Patchy fog could form in the early morning hours, but expect a mix of sun and clouds after it burns off. It will be warm and humid with highs 82 to 88 degrees across the area. Heat index values could approach 90 degrees in the afternoon. There is a 20 percent chance of an isolated thunderstorm. West winds will shift from the northwest at 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday: There could be some early morning fog once again followed by a mix of sun and clouds. It won't be as humid, but still warm with a high in the mid-80s. There is still a 20 percent chance of an isolated thunderstorm.

Thursday: A mix of hazy sun and clouds with a 40 percent chance of scattered thunderstorms. The high in Syracuse will be near 83 degrees.
