Tonight: It will be turning muggy tonight as dew points rise into the 60s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely to continue in the North County as the chance of rain increases to 70 percent. A few showers and storms could move into the Syracuse and Auburn areas after midnight. The chance of rain in immediate Central New York is 30 percent. The southern tier should remain dry tonight, but clouds will be on the increase. Lows will generally be in the mid-60s, but cooler to the south where there will not be as much cloud cover. Winds will be from the south and southwest at 5 to 10 mph.
Monday: A hazy and humid day with highs in the mid-80s. More scattered storms could roll through and they will be more widespread to the north. The chance of rain is 60 percent in the North County, 40 percent in Central New York, and 30 percent in the southern tier. Southwest winds in the morning will shift from the west by the afternoon at 5 to 15 mph keeping it cooler near Lake Ontario.
Tuesday: After some early morning fog, expect a mix of sun and clouds. There is a 20 percent chance of an isolated shower in the North County, but the rest of the area should not see any rain. The high in Syracuse will be near 87 degrees.
Wednesday: The warmest day of the week with a high around 88 degrees in CNY. Hazy sun could give way to a late day thunderstorm. The chance of rain is only 30 percent.
