October 26th, 2010 Forecast

Tonight: Showers should end overnight, and any clearing will cause some patchy fog to develop. It is going to be a very mild night with lows around 56 degrees area-wide. Winds will be from the south 5 to 10 mph. The sunset tonight is at 6:06 PM.

Tuesday: Record warmth ! I am forecasting a high near 78 degrees for Syracuse, and the record high for Tuesday is 78 degrees, set back in 1963. Morning fog and low level cloud coverage will give way to sunshine through a few high clouds. Expect a breezy afternoon as winds increase from the south-southeast 10 to 20 mph.

Wednesday: There is a 30 percent chance of a shower leftover from Tuesday night. Otherwise, clouds give way to sun and another mild afternoon. Highs will be around 71 degrees.

Thursday: Cooler, breezy, and sun gives way to increasing clouds. Highs hold in the upper 50s. The chance of a shower in the afternoon is around 30 percent.
