Now: Showers are moving into Central New York from the south. It is a chilly afternoon across the region with temperatures in the upper 40s to lower 50s. The normal high for this time of year is 65 degrees. It certainly feels like fall today, but we will be back into the mid-60s toward the end of the week.

Tonight: Scattered showers across Central New York (70 percent chance), periods of rain in the southern tier (90 percent chance), and a few showers in the north country (30 percent chance). Lows will be in the mid-40s, making for a chilly and damp night with a "raw" feeling. Winds will be out of the north around 5 to 10 mph. The sunset tonight is at 6:40 PM.

Tuesday: Showers on and off. The chance of rain is 70 percent for CNY, 80 percent to the south, and 30 percent to the north. Expect another cool and damp day with high temperatures holding in the mid to upper 50s. North winds will be 5 to 15 mph.

Wednesday: Leftover showers, especially in the morning through midday. Otherwise, look for plenty of clouds. The chance of rain is about 60 percent. Expect highs right around 60 degrees.

Thursday: After a 30 percent chance of a leftover morning shower, a mix of sun and clouds is expected. The afternoon should be dry and pleasant with a high near 63 degrees.
