October 7th, 2010 Forecast

Tonight: Spotty showers are likely, and a period of steady rain is possible. The chance of rain is about 60 percent. Lows will drop into the mid to upper 40s for most of us. Oswego should hold in the mid-50s next to a "warm" Lake Ontario (lake temperature around 60 degrees). Southeast winds will shift from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph. The sunset tonight is at 6:37 PM.

Thursday: There is a 40 percent chance of a few leftover showers in the morning. Otherwise, clouds give way to increasing sunshine and it turns windy. Highs will be around 65 degrees. West-northwest winds will be sustained at 15 to 25 mph with gusts around 35 mph.

Friday: It will be nearly a "picture-perfect" day for early October around here. A mix of sun and clouds is expected with highs near 70 degrees !

Saturday: Another nice day, but a bit cooler. Mostly sunny skies with highs around 60 degrees.
