April 2nd, 2013 Forecast

Cold temperatures aloft, northwesterly winds and some moisture will help set up some lake effect snow showers across the areas to the east and southeast of Lake Ontario, where lake effect snow advisories are in effect. It looks to last through tomorrow night when the moisture supply will begin to run out and as high pressure begins to move in from the west. This high pressure looks to dominate our weather through Friday. Right now, it looks as though two storm systems will pass to our south and north for the weekend, and high pressure will follow behind them. We look to be precipitation free through the beginning of next week!

Bottom line forecast: Look for tomorrow to be the least favorable day of the remainder of the week, with the threat of snow showers. Sunny skies will dominate for the rest of the week, with temperatures climbing into the 50s!
