Weekly Recap, April 14-20, 2013

It was basically a temperature see-saw in central New York last week.  We went from the 40s, to 70, to the 60s, to the 50s, back up to the 70s, and finally back down to the 40s.  The biggest story of the week was probably Friday's crazy weather.  We got up to 75 by 5 PM, but by 6 PM we were down to 55, and 47 by 7 PM.  That was courtesy of a strong cold front that moved through and brought us a round of showers and thunderstorms.

Friday's cold front spawned an EF-1 tornado in Chenango and Delaware Counties.  You can read more about this on our Facebook page.

After Friday's mid 70s, Saturday was spent in the 40s.  There were even snow showers around on Saturday -- some places in the North Country ended up with a coating of snow on the ground!  From tornadoes to snow showers in less than 24 hours...you know it has to be spring in CNY!
