May 26th, 2011 Forecast

Low pressure that brought all of the strong storms and tornadoes over the midwest will slowly move east, dragging along with it the moisture that helped spawn these storms. It will move over our area today, thus the threat for severe weather will increase as a cold front approaches. Severe weather will be likely today, tonight and into friday and saturday as well. The primary threats will be large hail and damaging winds and an isolated tornado.

Today: Cloudy this morning, then showers and thunderstorms likely. Some storms may be severe. Highs in the lower 80s. South west wind 10-15mph

Tonight. Showers and thunderstorms. Some may be severe. Lows near 60. Calm wind.

Friday/Saturday: Continued showers and thunderstorms. Highs near 80. Lows near 60.
