Tonight: There is the possibility of a shower this evening. Otherwise, partly cloudy skies in the evening will give way to mostly cloudy skies overnight. Lows will drop between 59 and 63 degrees across the region. West winds at 5 to 10 mph will become northwest overnight. The sunset tonight is at 7:52 PM.Friday: Clouds to sun. Expect a very pleasant day with a high near 77 degrees in Syracuse. Winds will be out of the north-northwest at 5 to 10 mph.
Saturday: High clouds from Irene with filtered sun. Warmer with a high near 82 degrees.
Sunday: We have to keep watching Irene closely, but at this point I will put a 60 percent chance of rain and some wind. Central New York could receive as much as 2 to 4 inches of rain. Stay tuned. The high will be around 72 degrees.
