September 8th, 2011 Forecast

Tonight: Any rain or showers will become scattered overnight. Look for areas of fog to form. Temperatures will hold steady around 63 degrees in Syracuse. East winds at 10 to 20 mph in the evening will diminish to 3 to 8 mph. The sunset tonight is at 7:29 PM.

Thursday: After areas of fog, low clouds, or a leftover shower in the morning, a mix of sun and clouds should develop. This will push temperatures up to around 74 degrees in the afternoon. Across the southern tier where a few more showers will hang around, temperatures will hold in the upper 60s. Winds will be out of the east-northeast at 5 to 10 mph.

Friday: Fog or low clouds will give way to some sunshine. There is a 30 percent chance of a pop-up shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon. The high will be near 77 degrees.

Saturday: Mix of sun and clouds, pleasant. The high will be near 75 degrees.
