Forecast Discussion: Across the central New York we have been waking up to a winter wonderland courtesy of the big Post-Christmas Nor'easter which delivered a foot plus of snowfall to our area. The scattered snow showers we saw today were from a very weak area of low pressure which will then be followed up during the day tomorrow by a somewhat stronger storm passing well to the southeast of our neck of the woods. Nonetheless, we can certainly anticipate on seeing a solid 1-3" of additional snowfall on top of what we already have on the ground now. As we move overnight into Sunday, snow showers will likely linger through the day giving an additional inch possibly. Through this period we can expect fairly seasonable temperatures with daytime temperatures in the upper 20's while the average temperature is 33. Stick with us through the weekend on updates on the possible snow going into the first week of 2013. From all of us here at cnyweather.blogspot.com we continue to wish everyone a very happy and healthy holiday season!
