January 26th and 27th, 2013 Forecast

Forecast Discussion: As much of the central New York region remains under the influence of a frigid and snowy pattern over the last few days some want an end and some cannot get enough snow. Going through this weekend we will be seeing additional snowfall across our area as a weak low pressure system comes through overnight tonight through early tomorrow giving us an inch or two of possible accumulation come Saturday morning. Looking towards Sunday we finally will witness the beginnings of a warming trend as highs will get into the upper 20's and lower 30's which is more seasonable compared to the single digits we have had to become accustomed to more recently. Looking towards next week we could easily get into the low-mid 40's by Tuesday before we cool back down towards the middle and latter part of the week. Check back for updates through the weekend!
