Weekly Recap, January 6-12, 2013

We had a welcomed January thaw in central New York last week.  High temperatures were above the normal high of 31 all week.  We only picked up 0.2 inches of new snow, and most of the snowpack has now melted thanks to the milder temperatures and the rain on Friday.

We'll be turning much cooler this week with more typical January temperatures and a few snow chances.  The coldest air we've seen in quite some time is going to be arriving next week, so be sure to check out our forecasts right here as well as our Facebook and Twitter pages for more details on that !
