Lake effect snow showers will continue into Thursday as winds remain northwesterly and as moisture wraps around low pressure over Nova Scotia. We will have one last nice day on Friday before another low pressure moves over the Great Lakes early Saturday. Another low pressure will form along the east coast Saturday. At this time, the ECMWF keeps most of the heaviest precipitation over the Hudson Valley and New England while the GFS have significant precipitation over Central New York on Saturday night. It looks as though enough warm air will intrude, so heavy snow accumulations do not look likely as of right now. Make sure to stay tuned to local forecasts. High pressure will follow for Monday.
