February 25th, 2013 Forecast

Forecast Discussion: As scattered light snow showers come to an end during the overnight hours we will see skies beginning to clear out. Monday will bring a slight chance of scattered snow showers early with a few possible peaks of sunshine. Temperatures will be a bit warmer with highs in the mid 30's. Going through the overnight hours we will cold and quiet conditions with light winds and mainly clear skies. These aforementioned conditions will promote some radiational cooling to occur which may help to drop temperatures into the mid and upper 20's. Tuesday will start with sunny skies for the morning as high pressure remains in control with a gradual increase in clouds towards the afternoon. This increase in clouds will be in the wake of the approaching storm system from the southwest for the day on Wednesday. In terms of actual impacts, expect a wintry mix for Wednesday with temperatures in the mid to upper 30's.
