Low pressure forming over Texas will move northeastward towards the Ohio Valley by Wednesday morning. While Tuesday looks to remain rain free, the threat for rain and snow showers will begin to increase Tuesday Night. It looks to be mostly a rain event for central New York as enough warm air will be advected northward over the area. Some snow and sleet may mix in at times, but no significant accumulations are expected. The low pressure will slow down its movement when it nears Nova Scotia, and will keep the threat of snow showers through Friday before high pressure attempts to work its way in for the weekend.
