March 23rd and 24th, 2013 Forecast

Forecast Discussion: Persistent lake effect snows will continue overnight through early tomorrow on top of the 2-3 feet which some locations in sections of the Tug Hill region have already received over the last couple of days. We will finally see this snow shower trend come to an end by tomorrow evening as high pressure temporarily moves in ahead of a developing coastal storm well to the southeast of the central New York region. Through the weekend temperatures will continue being chilly with overnight lows in the 20's so make sure you bundle up as you head out for dinner or wherever you may be headed for potential weekend travels. Stay tuned for updates on potential impacts of the aforementioned winter storm latest this weekend as we get closer to yet another winter storm here across the Northeast region!
