Weekly Recap, March 17-23, 2013

It was a chilly week across central New York last week.  We only cracked 40 degrees one day -- we were stuck in the low and mid 30s the rest of the week.  Syracuse received a fresh 14 inches of snow last week, pushing the seasonal total up to 100.8 inches.

Even though Syracuse only received 14 inches of snow, you know how isolated lake effect snow can be.  There were places on the Tug Hill Plateau that received over 2 feet of snow as the band sat over them for about 2 days straight!  Winter is certainly holding on tight here in CNY!  I don't see any sign of true spring weather until about the 2nd week of April, unfortunately.
