August 12th, 2010 Forecast

Tonight: A seasonable night with low temperatures right around 60 degrees. Skies will be partly cloudy with some patchy fog forming in the valleys by daybreak. North winds will become east at 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday: A nice day with high temperatures in the lower to mid-80s, but cooler near Lake Ontario with the lake breeze. A mix of sun and clouds is the forecast with a 20 percent chance of an isolated thunderstorm in the southern tier near Binghamton and the Catskill Mountains. Everyone else should remain dry. Winds will be out of the northeast at 5 to 10 mph.

Friday: There is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Otherwise, look for some hazy sun to peak through the cloud cover at times. High temperatures will be in the lower 80s.

Saturday: A mix of sun and clouds with a 20 percent chance of an isolated thunderstorm in Central New York. Most of the day should be dry. Saturday will be the better weather day of the upcoming weekend. High temperatures will warm up into the mid to upper 80s.
