High pressure over the Mississippi Valley will move eastward through the day Friday, keeping our winds westerly and keeping the slight chance of a snow shower in the forecast. The high pressure will keep moving east and will reach the east coast early Saturday. By that time, winds will begin to turn our of the south, and milder air will move into the area for the afternoon. At the same time, low pressure will moving eastward along the border between Canada and the U.S.. Snow showers and extremely cold temperatures will follow and will affect our weather for the beginning of next week.
