Weekly Recap, April 21-27, 2013

It was a pretty dry week across central New York last week.  There was only 0.1" of measurable rainfall, and finally...no measurable snow at the airport.  I can't say the same for everywhere -- some places on the Tug Hill and in the North Country woke up to a coating of snow on Thursday and Friday mornings after the cold front and secondary cold front came through.

Tuesday was probably the pick-day of the week with sunshine and low 60s.  Sure, Wednesday was the warmest day, but it was rather gray and windy.  Yesterday (Saturday) was another great day, but there was quite a bit of cloud cover around at times.

Spring weather will likely dominate for several days in a row starting by the middle of this week as high pressure gets locked in.  We just have to get through Monday and Tuesday, which won't be wash-outs, but there will be showers around.
