Most of the area woke up to 2 to 4 inches of snow on the ground this morning. Many of us will pick up another 1 to 3 inches by 5 PM this evening, bringing the storm totals to about 3 to 6 inches. Some locations in the eastern Catskills could see as much as 6 to 12 inches by time the snow ends, but that is mainly eastern Delaware County and points east. The wind will become a factor this afternoon as winds increase out of the north-northwest 10 to 20 mph causing some blowing and drifting snow.
