Tonight:  Lake effect snow showers and squalls.  A general trace to 2 inches for most, but up to 6 inches is possible in persistent squalls.  Windy with blowing snow.  Low near 10.  Winds will be out of the west at 10 to 25 mph.  The sunset this evening is at 5:03 PM.

Tuesday:  Bitter cold and windy with lake effect snow showers and flurries.  6 to 12 inches across parts of Oswego and Oneida Counties.  The snow will shift south in the afternoon, giving Syracuse and points south 1 to 4 inches.  High near 15.  West winds will shift from the northwest at 10 to 25 mph.

Wednesday:  Frigid with snow showers and flurries.  High near 10.

Thursday:  Bitter cold with a leftover snow shower.  High near 15.
