Weekly Recap, January 13-19, 2013

Last week was a very changeable week indeed.  Last Sunday was absolutely gorgeous...60 degrees, in January !  Then by Monday afternoon, temperatures had dropped into the 30s. Tuesday was pretty seasonable, although still slightly above normal for this time of year.

We got our first snowfall of the week on Wednesday.  Thursday we got a few more snow showers but the biggest story was temperatures falling through the 20s.  Friday we picked up 1.3 inches of snow, bringing us to a total of 1.7 inches for the week.

The week ended on another mild note...50 degrees on Saturday.  Don't get used to the mildness, however.  A bitter cold airmass will be sitting over us for most of this week.  See our forecast for more details on this week's weather !
