Strong low pressure will progress towards the upper Great Lakes and northeast into Ontario. A cold front and rain and snow showers will follow for our area Tuesday, along with lake effect snows to the north over the Tug Hill. We will have a short break for the day Friday as high pressure over Canada tries to build in. Low pressure forming over Colorado will move towards the Great Lakes Friday and will bring some snow showers for the overnight hours. Low pressure will form over the east coast for the weekend, and it looks as though it will be too far away to impact our area.
