Tonight: Snow developing. 1-2 inches is possible in Syracuse by daybreak...2-4 inches north of the Thruway where snow will be steadiest. Low near 20. Winds will be out of the east at 5 to 15 mph. The sunset this evening is at 5:25 PM.
Friday: Snow, heaviest in the afternoon. Right now, I expect 6-12 inches in Onondaga County (including Syracuse), as well as the counties to the west and southeast. Over a foot of snow is likely across Oswego, northern Oneida, Jefferson, and Lewis Counties. South of Syracuse, it will be a couple of degrees warmer, so only 3-6 inches is expected there where some rain could mix in with the snow. The high in Syracuse will be right around the freezing mark. Winds will be from the east-southeast at 10 to 20 mph.
Saturday: A few flurries early, otherwise, a mix of sun and clouds. Cold with a high around 20.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, not as cold. High near 30.
