The Goals & Purpose of This Blog

The goals and purpose of this blog are to keep all of Central New York updated on the weather 7 days a week and to provide the most accurate forecasts. Over time, more people may be added to this blog, but for now, Peter and I will have you covered. Blog posts will include forecasts Sunday through Friday afternoons, as well as updates and discussions about any severe weather events. Every morning, an updated forecast will be posted on our Twitter account which you can find on the right side of this page.

Although this blog will cover all of Central New York, the main forecast areas include Syracuse/Auburn, the North Country (Watertown), the Southern Tier (Binghamton), Lake Ontario (Oswego), and the Catskill Mountains (Hamden/Delhi). The 7 day forecast will be based off of Syracuse, but the breakdown of tonight/tomorrow's weather will include a forecast for all of the locations listed above.
